Nicole Alderete-Ferrini

Founder & CEO, Parade on Main
Nicole Alderete-Ferrini is the founder of Parade on Main, a next-generation civic strategy lab helping public institutions turn complexity into impact. A trained designer and former city executive, she brings two decades of experience where equity, policy, and design intersect. In 2014, she became the world’s first Latina Chief Resilience Officer, leading El Paso’s internationally recognized strategy under the Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities initiative. Nicole’s work spans housing, infrastructure, climate resilience, and recovery governance. At Parade, she develops tools that embed equity, health, and community voice into public projects—not as a checklist, but as strategy. Her leadership has been recognized nationally for challenging convention and advancing purpo-driven public design.
