Danielle Arigoni is an urban planner and community resilience expert.  She is the author of 'Climate Resilience for an Aging Nation' (Island Press, October 2023), exploring the impacts of climate change on people over 65 and why resilience plans should center older adults’ needs to reduce risk for all. Her work has been featured in JAMA, NPR, Governing and more (see full list at resilienceforanagingnation.com). Her 25-year career includes leadership positions in the aging and resilience fields in both the public and nonprofit sectors including at EPA, HUD, AARP and National Housing Trust. Danielle holds a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in Planning from University of Oregon.
