Healthcare system success during a disaster is directly related to building resiliency with the community populations it serves. This is especially evident among the more vulnerable of populations within a community. Involving those communities early in disaster mitigation increases resiliency for all. This presentation will give some examples of work with vulnerable populations - low-income and unhoused.
