Sustainability has been at the core of Nisus’ operations since its earliest days. Bora-Care, the company’s flagship product, was originally developed to protect log homes from the heavy moisture and intense insect pressure of southern Appalachia with borates, a naturally-occurring mineral salt. Since then, the product range has expanded to provide innovative pest control products, commercial and industrial-grade wood preservatives, and agricultural micronutrients. Nisus is proud to manufacture all of their products in the United States and to be an award-winning Responsible Care^™ Member of the American Chemistry Council.
